The minimum age to get a tattoo in most states is:
18 years old
Of course there are exceptions. Some tattoo parlors in some states will ink a tattoo for you with parental consent. This can be in person in some cases or written and notarized. In Florida, for example, you can get a tattoo at 16, with parental consent. Some states there is no minimum age, if you have parental consent.
